
I tend to view it as "MMORPG-like" enough to qualify for me, but I'd totally understand the opposite viewpoint too. With PSO2, it's similar in that you can run around the world and find other players, the "MORPG" part is certainly there, but the massive part is still a bit more debatable. When a lot of people think of an MMORPG, they tend to think of something on the scale of WoW or FFXIV, with players sprawled out all over a given area. Silly as it may seem to acknowledge, thank you for an actual answer that actually explains your viewpoint without resorting to insults and, bonus, sparks interesting discussion!
